Who am I
I am a final year student of Environmental Sciences at the University of Genoa and I am a guide at the Aquarium of Genoa. I have a great passion for the sea: it is paddleboarding – sport that I have been practicing since 2014 – that I am able to experience the sea in a sustainable way. One of my missions in life is the interest in doing citizen science to involve and spread an ever greater awareness of environmental and sustainability issues.
I am proud to be part of the OP Team also because I have the opportunity to experience and enhance Liguria, a region that should be enhanced to the fullest. I currently work as a content creator for a developing online platform that deals with outdoor sports and the promotion of sustainable tourism. I can’t answer about successes and goals: I see life as an experience of continuous learning! I therefore hope I can continue to meet people from whom to learn to live life positively and with love.
“Tra le mie missioni c’è l’interesse di fare citizen science per coinvolgere e diffondere una sempre maggiore consapevolezza sui temi di ambiente e sostenibilità.”

How did you join OP?
I joined the OP team after being selected as a member of the Crabs Team (CRABS project) in fall 2020. An admiration for the work and philosophy that these wonderful guys carry on developed from here and brought me to effectively joining the Team in winter 2021. This summer you will find me at the base in Niasca!
What do you do in OP?
Rental at the headquarters of Niasca & Sup Activity Leader
Your greatest passions?
Over the course of my life I have had a variety of interests. I believe the relationship I have today with my passions is the result of a personal journey in which I experienced, sometimes even throwing myself a little blindly, through different genres and activities: from sports to theater. To date I would say that my main interests are physical activity and outdoor sports, especially paddleboarding. My second passion is nature; finally food. In this last period I am developing a passion for permaculture with which I am managing to merge these two passions.
Your favourite place in Liguria?
Liguria is an extraordinary region, and there are many favorite places! It may seem strange, but Paraggi has always been a special place for me, especially in the period of adolescence when we didn’t know what to do with a friend, we always came here with the motorbike to have a chat. Then there is Camogli, the place where I used to go to enjoy the sun and the sea and eat focaccia when I skipped school (coming from Genoa, here I was sure not to be caught!). Another place that I particularly appreciate is Lerici and its Blue Bay.
Three favourite dishes in your kitchen?
I appreciate practically everything about Italian cuisine, I like simple and healthy food: I love fruit, vegetables and pasta which is sacred to me!
Three values that best represent you?
Humility, respect and the desire to learn.
