Twilight Trails: Guided Eco-Hike & Sea-View Tasting in Portofino

Immerse yourself in a unique sunset hiking experience with a sea-view tasting on Monte di Portofino and let yourself be transported on a sensory journey through the province of Genoa.

Starting from San Rocco, 200 meters above sea level, you will walk along a trail that will not only lead you through the breathtaking history and nature of the area but will also allow you to discover the scents, colors, flavors, textures, and sounds of the rich and diverse local biodiversity.

You will be immersed in an old agricultural landscape, now mixed with nature and undergoing progressive transformation, where every step will bring you into contact with the life that once pulsed in this territory. Along the way, you will have the opportunity to explore the ancient Batteries, witnesses of the tragic events of the Second World War and the strategic role of this territory, while being enveloped by the beauty of floral scents, bird songs, and rustling leaves.

Furthermore, enjoy a delightful aperitivo while admiring the sunset over the sea. Here, accompanied by triple A wine and typical focaccia from the region, you can taste not only the authentic flavors of Liguria but also the salty scent of the sea and the relaxing sound of the waves crashing on the coast. We will end the hike with a suggestive night descent, illuminated by head torches, to return to the starting point at the Church of San Rocco.

An experience that combines historical charm, natural beauty, and authentic Ligurian taste, enriched by a deep connection with the land and its hidden treasures.

Our experiences are more than just adventures: they are regenerative experiences that follow the philosophy of outdoor for good. Designed to benefit both people and the local area, these activities regenerate not only the minds and bodies of participants but also the surrounding environment. Thanks to our collaboration with CROPS: Curating, Replicating, Orchestrating, and Propagating Citizen Science across Europe, a project funded by the European Union, the activities carried out during our experiences are carefully verified and actively contribute to the conservation and well-being of the territory.

Portofino Park

The Natural Park of Portofino, the northernmost protected area of the Western Mediterranean, shows some of the most mind-blowing and celebrated landscapes in the world. The Park includes the municipalities of Camogli, Santa Margherita Ligure, Portofino and, considering the contiguous area, also the municipality of Rapallo. Made up by giant conglomerate deposits overlaying limestone banks, the promontory features geomorphologic and microclimatic characteristics that, in a relatively small area, create extremely diverse environments. Here the fresh Apennine woods of the northern slope are only a short walk away to the sunny Mediterranean landscape and the steep cliffs. Just a few steps separate the different farming cultures associated with chestnut and olive groves, from the sea-related activities and traditional fishing. Protected since 1935, the Park hosts one of the largest floristic concentrations in the Mediterranean, a remarkable variety of birds and invertebrates, as well as an important historical and architectural heritage.
